Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct evaluations for children in homes and preschools across The Hamptons and surrounding areas in Eastern Suffolk County, NY. This position can be part-time on a fee-for-service basis or a full-time arrangement depending on caseload.

Responsibilities include administering assessments (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, Bayley, Conners, BASC, Vineland), writing reports, and maintaining clear communication with families

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology required.
• Licensed or limited permit as a psychologist in NY required.
• New York State School Psychologist Certificate required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Administer and interpret standardized assessments (e.g., WPSI-IV, Bayley, Conners, BASC, Vineland).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, families, and schools/programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and operating standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.

Details about this opportunity:

• Location: Evaluations in Homes and Preschools in The Hamptons and Surrounding areas in Eastern Suffolk County, NY
• Status: Part-Time, Fee for service or Full time potential
• Hours: Available during and/or after school hours
• Compensation: $200-$250 per evaluation

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

• Write a comprehensive and clear diagnostic and psychological report

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology
• NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist
• New York State School Psychologist Certificate issued by the New York State Education Department
• Experience working with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum
• Experience evaluating preschool age children
• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families
• Bilingual is a plus
