Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a psychologist to conduct evaluations in homes and preschools across Westchester County, NY, with flexible part-time hours or potential full-time opportunities after school. You will write diagnostic reports and communicate with families and supervisors to support child development.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, NYS licensure or permit, and experience with autism spectrum evaluations; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology required.
• NYS licensed or limited permit psychologist.
• New York State School Psychologist Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Utilize standard assessment tools (Wechsler, Bayley, Conners, BASC, Vineland).
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, employees, and families.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Participate in meetings as needed.

Details about this opportunity:

• Location: Evaluations in Homes and Preschools throughout Westchester County, NY
• Status: Part-Time, Fee for service or Full time potential
• Hours: Available during and/or after school hours
• Compensation: $200-$250 per evaluation.

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

• Write a comprehensive and clear diagnostic and psychological report
• Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology
• NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist

• Experience working with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum
• Experience evaluating preschool age children
• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families
• Bilingual is a plus
