Centene is hiring remote Psychologist Reviewers (ABA). Candidates must hold an active psychologist license in one of the following states: Indiana, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, New Hampshire, or New Jersey.

Position Purpose

Authorize, direct, and monitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse problems based on clinical information and internal criteria.

• Conduct peer reviews with psychologists and licensed therapists/behavior analysts for outpatient and testing requests.
• Interact with network practitioners to educate on best practices and utilization management.
• Discuss clinical authorization questions with Medical Director or designee.
• Respond to state, provider, and member complaints related to psychological testing or services.
• Facilitate outpatient rounds with clinical input and oversight.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Education and Experience

PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or related field. 2+ years in Behavioral Health. Knowledge of psychological tests, evaluations, and evidence-based practices. Must hold an active PSY license (PhD or PsyD) or BCBA-D certification upon hire.

Compensation

Pay range: $86,000 - $154,700 per year. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
