Job summary

W3Global in Wasilla, AK is seeking a Psychologist or Psychological Associate to deliver CBT-focused therapy within a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment and discharge plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an Alaska license, both individual and group therapy experience, strong documentation skills, HIPAA knowledge, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Current Alaska license as a Psychologist or Psychological Associate.
  • Experience with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and application of CBT.
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and applicable confidentiality requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid Alaska driver''s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and discharge plans.
  • Maintain an assigned client caseload and monitor clinical progress.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Apply evidence-based approaches, particularly CBT, in treatment.
  • Complete utilization reviews and required clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with community providers.
  • Participate in staff training, clinical education, and onboarding of new clinicians/interns as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and applicable confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support positive client outcomes.
