Pediatric Associates of the Northwest (PANW) is seeking a psychologist for our NW Portland clinic.

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, we are a group of 13 pediatricians, 2 pediatric nurse practitioners, 4 psychologists, and 2 lactation specialists with three clinics in the Portland Metro area. Established in 1957, PANW was the first nationally recognized Pediatric Medical Home in Oregon and is currently recognized as a Tier 4 PCPCH (Patient Centered Primary Care Home) through the state of Oregon.

Brief Position Summary:
· You will partner with highly collaborative medical and behavioral health providers to provide evidence-based services to patients within a primary care behavioral health model. You will also collaborate with nurses and our two Family Support Specialists, who provide behavioral health care management support.
· Our behavioral health professionals provide brief assessments and interventions in a consultative, primary care model that offers open access to patients being seen in PANW’s healthcare clinics. We also provide brief treatment (generally 2 to 6 visits), addressing a wide variety of clinical issues, such as anxiety, stress, depression, behavioral/parenting concerns, ADHD, and health behavior/behavioral medicine concerns. There are also opportunities to lead early attachment parenting groups. Services are provided both in-clinic and virtually.
· Psychologists will also have the opportunity to provide psychological testing for ADHD, LD, Intellectual Disabilities, and/or ASD.
· We also provide outreach phone calls and emails to patients/families when support is needed.
· In addition, Behavioral Health professionals team with medical providers to participate in integrated well child visits, providing preventative and early intervention services regarding behavioral health and resilience, development, family relationships, and parenting.
· You’ll be invited to work collaboratively with behavioral health and medical providers to develop innovative and effective programs aimed at prevention, early intervention, and treatment.
Requirements:
· Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Oregon.
· Experience working with inter-professional healthcare teams or in a primary care setting preferred.
· Expertise in assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.
· Interest and experience in a broad range of areas, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, sleep problems, ADHD, behavior problems, developmental and learning challenges, and medical problems.
· Knowledge of the developmental process from birth to age 21.
· Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner with other professionals and support staff.
· An innovative, flexible, and collaborative approach to healthcare.
Hours and Salary:
· 1.0 FTE (4-day week)
