Join to apply for the Psychologist Neuropsychologist role at Inova Health.

Inova Fairfax Children’s Multispecialty Developmental Pediatrics clinic is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join the team. The role offers an opportunity to develop one clinic a week for short-term treatments such as individual, parent training, or group therapy, relevant to developmental pediatrics. The psychologist will consult on a multidisciplinary developmental pediatrics team and with providers across Inova on developmental disorders. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop effective treatment plans addressing psychological and behavioral issues, supporting the rehabilitation team’s goals.
• Provide information and guidance to the treatment team regarding psychological aspects.
• Select evaluation and treatment methods suitable for patients’ diagnosis, age, and condition, including relevant tests and tools.
• Perform reassessments and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patients’ progress.
• Contribute to educational efforts by providing materials and community resources to patients and families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology
• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• Basic Life Support certification upon start
• Clinical Psychologist licensure upon start

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years postdoctoral experience in assessment/treatment of children and adolescents with developmental disorders
• One year experience in assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Bilingual abilities are preferred but not required.
