Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Palm Harbor, FL seeks a psychologist to provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing in an outpatient clinic.

As an independent contractor, you will collaborate with psychiatrists and other clinicians, educate patients and families, and ensure thorough documentation while benefitting from flexible scheduling and the latest digital tools.

The position requires a doctoral degree in psychology and an active Florida license (or in progress).

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
• Experience in neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing
• Florida license or in the process of obtaining one
• Outpatient setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, and neuropsychological findings
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures

We provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits through a secure online telehealth platform. Our services include Psychiatric/Psychological Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy & Counseling, and Neuropsychological Testing Services. Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. Each patient is treated with compassion and respect at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. Qualifications

• Must have experience in conducting Neurocognitive and Neuropsychological Testing
• Must have a license in the state of Florida or in the process of getting one
• Work Experience in an outpatient setting preferred

Work Schedule

• As an Independent Contractor, you will have the choice to determine the working hours
• Offices open Monday-Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments
• Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday
• Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment
