DescriptionThe Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is
seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the Youth Stress and Mood
Program. Primary duties include:
- Assisting in implementing program protocols
using principles and protocols - Implementing programs and training for YSAM
programs - Implementing program protocols for evaluation,
intervention/treatment, and other clinical activities for youths (i.e.
psychodiagnosis and psychotherapy) - Assisting with program development, planning,
and implementation - Collating and reviewing data and developing
reports, presentations, and other dissemination projects
Salary: $58.36/hr - $76.99/hr

Qualifications- PhD or PsyD in Psychology
- Valid CA Psychologist License
- Minimum 2 years of post-doctoral experience
in clinical psychology - Experience and training in psychopathology and
psychotherapy in the area of suicide/self-harm prevention and depression - Prior work experience with youth patients with
depression, self-harm behavior, and suicidal ideation and behavior - Ability to assess and interpret complex
emotional and medical diagnosis for children and adolescents - Ability to recommend course treatment, and
implementation treatment plans, for children and adolescents, and their
families - Ability to train, supervise, and teach staff and
trainees - Ability to work nights and weekends
