Job summary

Wellpath seeks a licensed psychologist to provide clinical mental health services in a correctional/detention setting at KY DOC Little Sandy Corr. You will deliver diagnosis, treatment, testing, and crisis intervention, while guiding other professionals and supporting patient care with compassionate, evidence-based practices.

This full-time on-site role requires KY licensure, with opportunities for ongoing training and a $9,000 bonus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in psychology and experience with mental health delivery systems.
• Experience with psychological assessment instruments.
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with professional standards and institutional policies and procedures.
• Conduct direct clinical services including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, and crisis intervention.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards of care and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Develop and implement goals and objectives for clinical services and assist in staff recruitment and selection.
• Notify appropriate personnel of serious incidents and provide professional education and staff development as needed.

How you make a difference

As aPsychologistin a correctional or detention facility, the role involvesprovidingclinical mental health services toinmate patients. The Psychologistis responsible forprovidingclinical supervision and guidance to any mental health professionalsassistingthem.The Psychologist must provide mental health services that are consistent with their professional training and experience while meeting the expectations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
