Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible in North Carolina as a Psychologist.
• Minimum 2 years of recent psychologist experience.
• PSV verification copy if required by board.
• Certifications and compliance docs (e.g., BLS, TB test) current.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and screenings.
• Provide individual and group counseling to patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions.
• Assess patients for mental health conditions and behavioral issues.
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on coping strategies and wellness.

Psychologist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and screenings.

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions.

• Assess patients for mental health conditions, emotional concerns, and behavioral issues.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation and patient records.

• Provide education and guidance to patients on coping strategies, behavioral health, and wellness.

• Follow applicable clinical, ethical, confidentiality, and facility standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 2 years +of recent experience as a Psychologist

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,..)
