Clinical Psychologist - Autism Testing (Doctorate)

Rockville, Maryland - Hybrid Role (3/2)

$5,000 Relocation bonus.

Reliatus Behavioral Health, a leading mental health organization specializing in hiring mental health professionals to complete comprehensive assessments, therapy, and support services, is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Rockville, Maryland. This full-time position is dedicated to conducting Autism Assessments to provide valuable insights and support for individuals and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Autism Assessment: Conduct thorough and accurate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments using standardized tools, clinical interviews, and observational methods.
  2. Diagnostic Evaluation: Provide clear and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations based on assessment findings, in accordance with the latest diagnostic criteria and best practices.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other psychologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  4. Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized assessment records, prepare written reports, and communicate findings effectively to clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
  5. Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research, diagnostic tools, and treatment modalities related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, and actively participate in ongoing professional development.
  6. Client Support: Offer guidance and support to individuals and families by explaining assessment results, recommending appropriate interventions, and facilitating referrals to additional services when necessary.
  7. Adherence to Ethical Standards: Uphold ethical guidelines and standards set by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  1. Licensed Psychologist: Hold a valid and current license as a psychologist in the state of Maryland.
  2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting Autism Assessments and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  3. Education: Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  5. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
