Job summary

The Columbus Organization in San Francisco, CA is seeking a full-time Psychologist to support children with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver expert psychological services and develop impactful intervention plans.

Role requires a California license and a Doctorate in Psychology; travel between Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology and active California psychologist license.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, including competency evaluations.
• Training and/or experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) highly desired.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo.
• Bilingual candidates are welcome (Spanish & English or Cantonese/Mandarin & English).

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Integrate behavioral and psychological information into multidisciplinary reports and plans.
• Provide crisis intervention support with county mental health agencies.
• Monitor psychotherapeutic services and ensure quality care.
• Consult with case management, clinical teams, and community partners.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate services.
• Train and mentor staff and community service providers.

$115k-$143k Compensation + Stipends for travel, cell phone & internet

Role Summary

We are actively interviewing for a full-time Psychologist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to support children with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs through expert psychological services, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and the development of impactful intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure that behavioral and psychological information is integrated into a multi-disciplinary report and prescriptive plan to support individuals in achieving self-sufficiency and maximizing their potential.
• Provide crisis intervention support in collaboration with county mental health agencies.
• Monitor psychotherapeutic services and ensure quality care for clients.
• Consult with case management, clinical teams, and community partners.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate services.
