Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to administer assessments, provide evidence-based interventions, and contribute to treatment planning in an inpatient/mental health setting in Richmond, IN. This full-time contract role offers onsite work with a 19-week term starting 8/24/2026 at a base pay of $75/hour plus a $3,000 weekly base pay.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, state licensure in Indiana, and demonstrated

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required.
  • Must hold a valid license as a Psychologist by the Indiana State Psychology Board.
  • Knowledge of Indiana psychology laws and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer initial and annual psychological assessments.
  • Perform psychological testing, scoring, interpretation, and written reports.
  • Participate in clinical treatment meetings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients individually or in groups.
  • Maintain therapeutic alliance with patient and family/caregivers.
  • Provide psychoeducational interventions for campus-wide treatment groups.
  • Complete documentation per facility and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Contribute to treatment planning and patient involvement.

A Day in the Life

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Administer initial and annual psychological assessments for all patients.
  • Perform psychological testing, scoring, interpretation, and written reports.
  • Participate in clinical treatment meetings.
  • Provide evidence-based, recovery oriented therapeutic interventions to patients in individual and/or group format.
  • Maintain a therapeutic alliance with the patient and family/caregivers and facilitates family therapy.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic and psychoeducational interventions for campus-wide active treatment groups.
  • Complete documentation of all aspects of patient contact per facility, departmental and HIPPA guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations for specialized psychological evaluation and treatment according to the goals outlined in the master treatment plan.
  • Ensure patient involvement and participation in treatment planning and implementation.

What You'll Need for Success

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Must hold a valid license as a Psychologist by the Indiana State Psychology Board.
  • Knowledge of psychological theory, practice, and applicable laws pertaining to the practice of psychology in Indiana.
  • Ability to utilize various sources of data to determine changing clinical needs of hospital population and the ability to plan and or alter psychological practice accordingly.
  • Ability to administer, interpret, and incorporate psychological assessment materials to address salient diagnostic and treatment issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of the professional ethical guidelines delineated by the American Psychological Association.
  • Knowledge of the *** rules and statutes and HIPAA regulations pertaining to patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to supervise master s level clinicians and practicum students, if applicable.
  • Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Skills
  • Valid license as a Psychologist by the Indiana State Psychology Board (or willing to obtain reciprocity licensure for Indiana) Required
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Required
  • Knowledge of psychological theory, practice, and applicable laws pertaining to the practice of psychology in Indiana. Required
  • 1 Years Knowledge of the *** rules and statutes and HIPAA regulations pertaining to patient privacy and confidentiality. Required
  • 1 Years Ability to use data to determine changing clinical needs of hospital population w/ability to plan and or alter psychological practice accordingly. Required
  • 1 Years Ability to administer, interpret, and incorporate psychological assessment materials to address salient diagnostic and treatment issues. Required
  • 1 Years Exp. in clinical settings with diverse adult populations, including geriatrics, preferably in an in-patient psychiatric or mental health facility. Required
  • 1 Years Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required
  • 1 Years Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Required
  • 1 Years Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions. Required
  • 1 Years Experience with Cerner Millenium Desired
