Location: Altru Behavioral Health Center, 860 S. Columbia Rd., Grand Forks, ND 58201

Pay Range: $103,854.40 - $155,792.00

Summary

The Clinical Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within an integrated behavioral health team. This role collaborates closely with psychiatrists and therapists to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate functioning, support diagnosis, and guide treatment planning.
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological and neuropsychological testing as clinically indicated and within scope of competence.
• Provide evidence-based therapy using appropriate modalities, including CBT, trauma-informed care, supportive therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and treatment response.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, nurses, behavioral health technicians, trainees, and other team members to support integrated care.
• Provide patient and family education, resource linkage, and advocacy to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and consultation to psychology trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and licensed or provisionally licensed therapists as assigned.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and participate in case consultation, care planning, and department activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Education

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
