Job summary

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Psychologist in Virginia.
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting psychological and diagnostic evaluations with structured tools.
  • Experience assessing Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and integrate cognitive, executive functioning, and personality measures.
  • Complete autism spectrum evaluations using evidence-based tools.
  • Conduct ADHD and executive functioning assessments.
  • Provide clear diagnostic conclusions and actionable treatment recommendations.
  • Deliver feedback sessions to clients and families.
  • Serve as a consultation resource for therapists and clinicians.
  • Maintain a small psychotherapy or consultation caseload.
  • Support development of neurodiversity-focused services and program innovation.
  • Complete timely documentation and ensure ethical/legal compliance.

ZoeRVA Health is an integrative behavioral health practice dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting healing and wellness through personalized, root-cause-focused care. Our multidisciplinary team brings together psychotherapy, psychiatry, primary care collaboration, and evidence-based interventions to support whole-person health, with a growing focus on neurodiversity-affirming assessment, trauma-informed treatment, and clinical innovation.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experience Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations while serving as a clinical resource within our interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a psychologist with expertise in assessing and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, executive functioning challenges, and related neurodevelopmental concerns in adolescents and adults. In addition to conducting evaluations, the psychologist will maintain a small therapy and/or consultation caseload, collaborate with clinicians across disciplines, and help shape the development of innovative neurodiversity-affirming services.

Key Responsibilities
Psychological & Neurodevelopmental Assessment
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and integrate psychological, cognitive, executive functioning, personality, and behavioral assessment measures.
  • Complete autism spectrum evaluations utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Conduct ADHD and executive functioning assessments.
  • Evaluate for differential diagnoses and co-occurring mental health concerns.
  • Provide clear diagnostic conclusions and actionable treatment recommendations.
  • Deliver feedback sessions to clients and families.
Clinical Consultation
  • Serve as a consultation resource for therapists, psychiatric providers, and clinical leadership.
  • Assist with diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
  • Support interdisciplinary case consultation and care coordination.
  • Provide clinical expertise related to neurodiversity, autism, ADHD, and psychological assessment.
Clinical Care
  • Maintain a small psychotherapy and/or consultation caseload.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions when appropriate.
  • Support clients navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
Program Development & Innovation
  • Help develop and expand neurodiversity-focused services.
  • Contribute to clinical education, training initiatives, and program development.
  • Participate in quality improvement and outcomes-focused projects.
  • Support future growth of assessment services and specialized programs.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete timely evaluation reports and clinical documentation.
  • Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards of psychological practice.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
Required
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Psychologist in Virginia.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting psychological and diagnostic evaluations (Ideal assessment tool experience includes ADOS-2, MIGDAS-2 WAIS-IV/WAIS-5, WISC-V, Conners, Brown Executive Function Scales, BASC, MMPI, PAI, and other evidence-based psychological and neurodevelopmental assessment measures).
  • Experience assessing Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
Preferred
  • Expertise in adult autism assessment.
  • Experience evaluating adolescents and young adults.
  • Experience with executive functioning and learning assessments.
  • Knowledge of neurodiversity-affirming models of care.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
  • Interest in program development, clinical innovation, teaching, research, or professional training.
