Job summary

The Locums Company, LLC seeks a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to conduct mental health compensation and pension exams for veterans. This is an on-site, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm contract position with 1099/independent contractor status.

Applicants must hold a Georgia psychologist license, have a PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program, and be willing to relocate to Augusta, GA. Criminal background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensed psychologist in Georgia.
• Willing to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• Independent contractor / 1099 arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health assessments for veterans for service-connected issues.
• Focus on assessment-only role for mental health evaluations.
• Work on-site: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday–Friday; no weekends.
• Contract engagement with The Locums Company; professional liability insurance provided.

Job Position:

Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) - (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor)

Job Background:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our team in providing military veterans with thorough mental health compensation and pension exams for service connected issues and claims. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Job Description:

Mental health issues addressed during the exams may include depression, military sexual trauma, PTSD, sleeping disorders, eating disorders and anxiety. This is an assessment only position.

Role Description:

This is a contract role for a Locums Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with The Locums Company, LLC. The Locums provider will work on-site and provide mental assessment for veterans. Focus is on mental health assessment as it relates to the future medical needs. TLC offers excellent contract compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Job Requirement:

Must have Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) License in Georgia

Must have a doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA accredited institution

Must be willing to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check

Job Types: Full Time, Contract

Pay: $750/day

Expected hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Schedule: Monday- Friday

No weekends
