Job summary
Providence Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle seeks a compassionate Clinical Psychiatrist to join its Psycho-Oncology Program. You will provide specialized psychiatric care to adult oncology patients as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
Work with oncology social workers, medical oncologists, palliative care specialists, and supportive care professionals to address emotional and mental health needs along the cancer journey. Seattle campus offers a vibrant living environment.
Qualifications
- Board-certified psychiatrist with an exemplary clinical track record.
- Interest or experience in psycho-oncology, neuropsychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, palliative care, or complex medical populations.
- Expertise in psychopharmacologic management of medically complex patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized psychiatric care to adult oncology patients as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with oncology social workers, medical oncologists, palliative care specialists and other supports.
- Contribute to program development, education, and clinical excellence within the Psycho-Oncology Program.
