Job summary

The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix seeks faculty in the Department of Psychiatry to develop an internationally competitive research program addressing psychiatric disorders through genomics, neuroimaging, and related fields.

Candidates must hold a PhD and/or MD with postdoctoral training, demonstrate supervisory and funding experience, and contribute to teaching and service missions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level.

Qualifications

• PhD and/or MD required with postdoctoral training.
• Experience supervising research projects and managing budgets.
• Strong record of publishing and securing research funding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with college and partner faculty.
• Contribute to teaching, clinical service and scholarly activity.
• Engage in external academic and professional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
