Overview

Indiana Regional Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director. The new facility, expected to be completed by December 2024, will feature an eight-bed adolescent unit, a 24-bed adult unit, and a 12-bed geropsychiatry unit.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee a new psychiatric residency training program for 4 residents.
  • Perform a combination of administrative and clinical duties, including outpatient and inpatient care.
  • Manage weekday call responsibilities; weekend call estimated at 1:8.
About the Department

Neuropsychiatric Associates offers inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents. The department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and social work interns. An ECT program will be added soon.

Qualifications
  • At least five years of clinical experience.
  • Board certification in psychiatry.
  • Prior experience running a residency training program is preferred.
