Job Details

• Position: In-person 0.9 FTE, with a rotation of 7on/7 off or 14on/14off.
• Coverage: 7-day service model, call from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overnight and weekend call shared among physicians.
• Telehealth services to critical access hospitals in the area.
• Responsibilities include managing psychiatric patients in the emergency department, leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation, and providing consultation to a Level 1 Trauma Center.

About Our Behavioral Health Team

• Join a team of 9 adult and 4 child/adolescent psychiatrists, along with psychologists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RNs, and clinical assistants.
• Services include inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison, emergency psychiatry, outpatient services, and more.
• Our inpatient units have 44 adult beds and 16 child/adolescent beds.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Interest in ECT is a plus.

• Duluth, MN: a harbor city located at the western tip of Lake Superior, 150 miles north of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Compensation

$304,528.50, with potential bonuses, incentives, or production-based pay.
