This position is for a full-time Medical Director for Inpatient Psychiatry at Acclaim Multispecialty Group and JPS Health Network. The Medical Director oversees the administration and clinical management of JPS Health Network’s Trinity Springs Pavilion, which includes Child and Adolescent inpatient units, the Local Commitment Alternative Unit, and the Adult inpatient units, totaling 136 beds.

JPS, serving Tarrant County residents for over 100 years, offers an excellent opportunity for passionate individuals to treat complex behavioral health issues and provide compassionate care. It is also an urban teaching hospital affiliated with multiple medical schools, offering extensive training programs.

The department provides a comprehensive range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care for adults and adolescents, a 28-bed long-term care unit, a 98-bed inpatient unit, trauma consultations, a 24-hour Psychiatric Emergency Center, assessment and outpatient clinics, and psychological testing services.

Responsibilities of the Medical Director at Trinity Spring Pavilion:

• Serve as Clinical Director, ensuring staff compliance and meeting accreditation standards.
• Develop and monitor quality and risk management standards.
• Oversee inpatient service delivery and supervise staff including psychiatrists, residents, PAs, and NPs.
• Provide clinical leadership for treatment components and promote department services.
• Lead strategic development and participate in administrative rounds.
• Handle conflicts, provide consultation, and ensure emergency assessments.
• Involved in teaching residents, medical students, and PAs, including didactics and supervision.
• Mentor providers and collaborate with department leadership.
• Attend departmental meetings and ensure adequate coverage and fiscal management.
