The ideal candidate is board certified or eligible, holds an active Texas license, and has DEA and CSR credentials.

Qualifications

• Active Texas medical license required.
• DEA license and CSR in good standing.
• Experience with Cerner/Iris EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in residents aged 13–17.
• Perform psychiatric assessments and timely charting of encounters.
• Document patient encounters using EMR with accuracy.

This facility is seeking a Psychiatry Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 3-Month Commitment; Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Practice Setting: Residential Treatment Facility
• Scope: The Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating psychiatric disorders, and performing psychiatric assessments, providing timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records of the residents with intellectual disabilities. Ages 13 - 17.
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~ 4 weeks
• State Licensure: Texas
• Requirements: Board Certified or Board eligible, Active State License, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), and use of Cerner/Iris Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
