Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association.
• PCT certification required within first year of employment.
• Preferred: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic needs including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and using the restroom.
• Regularly measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP, respiration).
• Draw blood, urine, or stool samples for testing.
• Engage patients in activities, perform safety rounds, and assist with activities of daily living.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean, therapeutic environments and manage calls, phones, and searches.
