We are in search of a compassionate and proficient Physician or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to become part of our respected Behavioral Health Unit. The selected individual will collaborate with our seasoned Medical Director to deliver outstanding care and assistance to senior patients dealing with diverse mental health issues.
• Perform thorough assessments and examinations of geriatric patients with behavioral health issues.
• Create individualized treatment plans that meet each patient's specific needs and objectives.
• Supervise the execution of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments to achieve the best patient outcomes.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-focused care to improve the mental health of the elderly in our care.
• Take an active role in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts to foster a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director to maintain the highest medical care standards and comply with all regulations and policies.
• Pursue continuous professional development and education to remain current with the latest trends in geriatric behavioral health.
Job Qualifications:
• A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.
New graduates are welcome to apply
• Board certification in Psychiatry or Geriatric Psychiatry is preferred.
• A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain one before employment begins.
• Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health in the geriatric population.
