Locums Psychiatry/Geriatric - Colorado approximately 60 miles from Denver

We are looking for a locums Psychiatrist to be on call and on site admits/rounds for a Geriatric Behavior Health Unit as needed for coverage; schedule is variable based on need.

March 14 - 18
April 1st
April 4-8
April 11-15
May 16-20
June 20-24
June 27-July 1

14 bed geriatric behavioral health unit specializing in dementia and dementia related behaviors.
Average LOS 20 days, average age of patient is 80, voluntary unit.
Medical needs managed by the onsite hospitalist.
Two full time LCSW on staff.
Unit is a Distinct Part Unit, acute hospital.
Unit is part of a 50 bed hospital located in northeastern Colorado.
Support services include laboratory, RT, imaging services 24X7; speech, PT and OT available seven days per week.
3-4 Admits per week - all are pre-planned.
EMR: MEDHOST
Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, and have experience with geriatric population and with dementia.
