Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a licensed psychotherapist for a full-time role serving Kingsport and surrounding Tennessee communities. The position focuses on clinical assessments and individual psychotherapy for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings, with strong organizational support and clinical autonomy.

The role offers on-site patient care with remote documentation and a schedule that avoids nights or weekends, ensuring stability and flexible coverage within Monday–Friday workdays.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee state license as LPC or LMFT.
• Six months experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy.
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, and life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
