Job summary

Funk and Associates is seeking a Contract Psychiatrist to provide outpatient forensic psychiatry at an adult men’s correctional facility in Corcoran, CA. The assignment is for 6–12 months with ASAP start and in-person, full-time hours (4x10s or 5x8s, Mon-Fri, 7 a.m.–5 p.m.).

Qualifications

• This role requires an MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active California medical license and California DEA are required.
• Minimum 12 months of adult psychiatry experience in the last 3 years; high-acuity or inpatient experience preferred.
• BLS certification and medical malpractice insurance are required.
• Experience in correctional/forensic psychiatry with high-acuity patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR is desired.
