Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience providing psychiatric clinical services, including evaluations and psychotherapy.
• Licensed NP or PA with NJ eligibility and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat non-teaching consult patients on med/surg floors and in ED.
• Ongoing follow ups for non-teaching CL service patients.
• Review patient list on CL team rounds each morning and afternoon.
• Supervise APP students as assigned by psychiatry department lead.
• Liaise from psychiatry CL team to primary teams for patient care.
• Collaborate with CL attending to provide training for non-psychiatry providers.
• Continue education through daily didactic sessions with CL/ED team.
