Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Voorhees Township, NJ, to provide full-time outpatient psychiatric care. The role entails assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients’ psychiatric illnesses with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.

The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric clinical services, hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing or as a Physician Assistant, and have a valid NJ-RN/APN or NJ-PA license. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior experience providing psychiatric clinical services including evaluations.
• Licensed as NJ-RN/APN or NJ-PA; Board certified.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage psychiatric illnesses.
• Perform comprehensive patient history and develop care plans.
• Initiate and follow up on pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy.
