Job summary

Maxim Healthcare seeks a Doctor of Medicine to work as Director of Psychiatry in a crisis stabilization unit in Arizona. The role covers inpatient and outpatient psychiatry on a 44-bed unit with 8–16 census per psychiatrist and 3–5 day average length of stay.

The candidate must be board certified in the specialty, hold an AZ license, BNDD/DEA licenses, BLS, and AZ credentialing experience is a plus. This is a permanent position with nationwide support from a staffing partner.

Practice: a crisis stabilization unit for adults, not a long-term psychiatric treatment facility. Inpatient/outpatient Psychiatry unit.

Holds 44 beds. Census of 8-16 patients per Psychiatrist. Average length of stay of 3-5 days.
