Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks psychiatrists to join a team of medical providers offering general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry services. The role supports outpatient, inpatient, crisis stabilization, and TMS with flexible schedules and potential virtual delivery options.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a psychiatry residency; fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry if applying as child psychiatrist.
  • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry or child and adolescent psychiatry.

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with mental health and/or addiction concerns.
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.
  • Carry a caseload as determined with supervisory staff.
  • Participate in emergency services to assist during crises.
  • Ensure follow-up care for all clients and join staffing meetings as requested.
  • Support management needs including data collection and program evaluation.
