Veterans Health Administration at the Sheridan VA Health Care System seeks a physician to provide specialized psychiatric care for veterans in a comprehensive health system setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, excellence in clinical documentation, and adherence to VHA policies.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a US state or territory
• Residency in an ACGME/AOA accredited program leading to board eligibility
• Possession of board certification or eligibility (PRPs note) may be required for faculty
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychiatric care for Veterans within the Sheridan VA Health Care System
• Enter all veteran/family contacts in the electronic medical record promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours coverage
• Engage in process improvement and performance measurement activities
• Attend meetings, trainings, and required conferences
• Supervise or mentor trainees and staff as assigned
• Ensure accountability for timely and accurate clinical documentation
