Job Description

What you’ll do at OhioMHAS:

  • Evaluate, examine, analyze, diagnose, and treat patients; prescribe medication
  • Coordinate Treatment Team meetings & provide clinical direction for development of Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs)
  • Administer and monitor psychopharmacological, psychotherapeutic, and related treatments; provide individual & group treatment; monitor medical condition of patients
  • Collaborate with outside psychiatrists and clinicians to ensure care continuity
  • Maintain proper documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Supervise and give direction to staff involved in psychiatric care

This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 union, with shifts available including day, evening, weekend, and holiday rotations. The position is located at Summit Behavioral Healthcare, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Qualifications

Certificate to practice medicine per Section 4731.13 of the Ohio Revised Code; completion of residency in psychiatry; recognized as a psychiatrist by Ohio medical associations or equivalent qualifications.
