Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is hiring a PRN Psychiatrist to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center in Orlando, Florida. The schedule is as-needed, enabling flexible hours to support patient needs.

The role requires a Medical Degree (MD/DO), ABPN board certification, and an unrestricted license in Florida. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team, manage medications, and coordinate with behavioral health professionals to ensure integrated care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Board certification from the ABPN for adult, adolescent, or pediatric populations as applicable.
• State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).
• Federal DEA license in relevant states.
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required.
• CPR Certification.
• CAM S – certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum three years post-residency clinical experience as a psychiatrist in ambulatory/occupational health or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs examinations and care measures for patient populations covered by client contract.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify health care needs.
• Records findings in the EMR and plans prognosis and care.
• Collaborates with medical and behavioral health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Initiates, titrates, and manages medications as part of the care team.
• Refers patients to specialized resources as indicated.
• Interacts with members to support goal setting and action planning.

As a PRN Psychiatrist you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Orlando, FL. The scheduled hours are as needed.

What You'll Do

• Performs examinations and care measures for patient population covered by the client contract andwithin prescribed guidelinesthe providers’ scope of practice.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborates with/refers to medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
• Provides medication initiation, titration, and management for members as appropriate as part of the care team.
• Refers patients to specialized health resources for treatment as indicated.
• Interacts with members to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

What You'll Bring

• Medical Degree
• MD or DO with unrestricted license in the State providing care or supervision/collaborative practice agreements.
• Board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) appropriate for the population served (i.e., adult, adolescent, or pediatric patients).
• State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state
• CPR Certification
• Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience as a psychiatrist in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting.
