Psychiatrist Job Opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, DC

The newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a nocturnist work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in Emergency Department, Consultative Liaison services and adult inpatientcoverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consultations across various hospital departments.
  • Collaboration with Emergency Department, GWU Residents, and Medical Students.
  • Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary, benefits, and bonus incentives.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.
  • Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers.
Required Qualifications:
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
  • Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
  • Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure.
  • At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.
  • Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.
