What You Will Do to Change Lives

You will be taking nightly calls for emergency medications and restraints. You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.

Psychiatrist - On-Call nights only, Mon-Thurs every other week (Remote)

Independent Contractor wage range - $200/night

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry

The Riverside County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked acute inpatient program for adults, 18+ years old, diagnosed with a serious mental illness, and are experiencing an acute mental health emergency. Admission is voluntary or involuntary (5150). The average stay is 5 -7 days.

The Riverside County Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) offers 24-hour, 7 days-per-week, community-based emergency services for adults and youth experiencing crisis related to a mental health condition. Individuals can stay in the CSU for up to 24 hours. Children and adults are treated in separate areas. Admission is voluntary or involuntary (5150).
