Job summary

The Assistant Chief of Mental Health directs clinical and administrative activities, supervises inpatient and emergency services, and supports a broad range of psychiatry and neuromodulation programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States or District of Columbia.
• Completed residency in an ACGME or AOA approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• If not board certified, must be eligible for board certification in the applicable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Open continuous vacancy with qualified candidates considered as vacancies arise.
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; provide professional medical care within Mental Health services.
• Coordinate with the ACOS of Mental Health and supervise staff and programs within the service line.
