Job summary

Munson Healthcare's Behavioral Health team in northern Michigan is expanding outpatient psychiatry services with a BE/BC psychiatrist. This full-time role offers a Hybrid schedule with telehealth plus one on-site day per week and a Monday–Friday workweek with on-call nights.

You will collaborate with the Psychiatrist, Substance Use Disorder Medical Director, and Psychiatry Department Chief to provide patient-centered care to the community, including supervision of learners and residents.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board eligible/certified to practice in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Behavioral Health preferred
• Experience with Oracle Health EHR

Summary: Munson Healthcare's Behavioral Health team is offering a full-time opportunity for BE/BC psychiatrist to join our team. This position is for expanding outpatient psychiatric services for Munson Healthcare. The psychiatry department is expanding, and leadership is eager to help you explore your clinical interests. This department hosts a mix of third and fourth-year medical students, family medicine residents, and psychiatry residents.

Position Duties/Highlights Include:

• Works in collaboration with a Psychiatrist, Substance Use Disorder Medical Director, and Psychiatry Department Chief.
• Schedule is Monday - Friday with approximately 3 nights of home call per month
• Hybrid outpatient services (telehealth plus one day her week at MHC site)
• Full-time
