Job summary

Blossom Health in Detroit seeks a board-certified psychiatrist to lead patient evaluations and treatment planning. The role supports telehealth and in-person visits, with a patient-centered approach and administrative support to handle non-clinical tasks.

You will prescribe and monitor psychopharmacological therapies, document thoroughly in HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental healthcare for a growing community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board cert in Psychiatry.
• Valid state license to practice psychiatry.
• Valid DEA number (and CDS when required).
• Individual liability insurance.
• Ability to conduct telehealth from home or another remote location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Provide medical management, mental health counseling, and therapy sessions.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation in line with regulations.
• Offer telehealth services as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
