Elite DNA Behavioral Health in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Board Certified Psychiatrist for a full-/part-time role delivering psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults. A physician-led telepsychiatry model supports clinicians with a best-in-class patient management system and dedicated administrative staff.

The position emphasizes comprehensive care, collaboration with mid-level providers, and a flexible, mission-driven team culture. In-person or hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Florida as an M.D.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat mental illnesses using psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Discuss with patients to help them find solutions through behavior changes, past experiences, or group/family therapy.
• Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
• Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances.
• Use Athena EMR for progress notes, orders, and medical record completion.
• Deliver person- and family-centered care.
• Demonstrate understanding of developmental/age-specific issues in treatment.
• Interact effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers and external agency employees.
• Comply with policies and procedures regarding workers' compensation, risk management, and security.

Full-Time opening for a Board Certified Psychiatrist needed for a growing mental health agency in our Tallahassee, FL.

• Assess and treat mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Regular discussions with patients about their problems; help them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate and supervision with mid-level providers.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
• Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems.
• Uses Athena, the computerized medical record system, for progress notes, orders, and medical record review and completion of such records in a timely manner
• Delivers person and family-centered care.
• Demonstrates understanding of developmental/age-specific issues in the treatment of patients.
• Interacts effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers and external agency employees.
• Performs work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complies with policies and procedures regarding workers' compensation, risk management, and security.
