Elite DNA Behavioral Health in Florida is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist for a full-time role in a growing mental health agency. The position is in the North Palm Beach area with in-person/hybrid work options.

You will assess and treat mental illnesses, provide psychotherapy and medication management, and collaborate with mid-level providers. The role requires Florida MD license and board certification or eligibility; schedule is Monday to Friday with day shifts; compensation ranges from

• Licensed in Florida as an MD.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Full-time/Part-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat mental illnesses with psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Discuss patient problems and help find solutions through behavioral changes and therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and provide supervision as needed.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.

Education

Full-Time opening for a Board Certified Psychiatrist needed for a growing mental health agency in our North Palm Beach, FL.

Our recent growth has opened up several positions throughout our ever expanding office locations.

• Assess and treat mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
• Regular discussions with patients about their problems; help them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate and supervision with mid-level providers.
• Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
• Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems.
• Uses Athena, the computerized medical record system, for progress notes, orders, and medical record review and completion of such records in a timely manner
• Delivers person and family-centered care.
• Demonstrates understanding of developmental/age-specific issues in the treatment of patients.
• Interacts effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers and external agency employees.
• Performs work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complies with policies and procedures regarding workers' compensation, risk management, and security.
