Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist (8 hours per week) to directly treat members within the psychiatrist license scope. You will engage in program leadership, collaborating with staff and clients while ensuring superior medical practices that meet licensure and payer standards.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a medical school accredited by the AMA or AOA with successful completion of residency training in psychiatry.
• Active DEA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Direct medical treatment to Telecare members within the scope of a psychiatrist license.
• Participate in program leadership and communicate with program staff and members served.
• Ensure high-quality medical practices meet licensure requirements, payer standards, and client/community needs.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.

Psychiatrist - Part-time 8 hours per week - Any day Weds-Thurs

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range $155 - $193 / Hourly

Independent Contractor wage range $201 - $252 / Hourly

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
• Active DEA in good standing
