Job summary

Telecare in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time, on-site position. You will direct medical treatment within your licensed scope and participate in program leadership to ensure high-quality care aligned with licensure and payer standards.

The role offers M-F 8am-5pm hours, with optional on-call duties (compensated up to $400/night). Independent contractor pay ranges and employee benefits may apply based on engagement type.

Qualifications

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the AMA or the AOA.
• Successful completion of residency training in psychiatry.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.

Psychiatrist - Full-time, 40 hours per week

M-F 8am-5pm onsite position

Optional on call (by phone for emergencies only compensated up to $400/night)

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range $322,561 - $403,202 / Annually

Independent Contractor wage range $201 - $252 / Hourly

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
