JFK-ADATC is seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals receiving acute stabilization and residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The psychiatrist will provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
This position also provides clinical guidance and supervision to advanced practice providers, consultation on complex psychiatric and medical presentations, and support for clinical quality and program improvement initiatives. The Staff Psychiatrist will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a specialized treatment setting serving individuals with complex behavioral health and substance use needs.
Recruitment Range: $170,121 to $340,243
*A Sign-on bonus of $20,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on budget.

To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.

JFK is a 68-bed inpatient treatment facility designed to meet the needs of adults with substance use disorders from the 44 westernmost counties in North Carolina. The facility treats individuals with substance abuse and psychiatric diagnoses. JFK is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as a Behavioral Health facility and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
