Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a psychiatry provider for an on-site inpatient position in the United States. The role encompasses 8‑hour days, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties including one weekend per month and a 1 week every 3 weeks daytime rotation.

The practice manages an adult inpatient psychiatry unit with a census of 10–12 patients per day per psychiatrist. Weekend rounding is supported by a resident or NP, and a minimum 12‑month commitment is requested.

Responsibilities

• On-site work: Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm (8‑hour days)
• Weekend call: 1 weekend per month, call starts Fri 5 pm and rounds Sat & Sun until Mon 8 am
• On-call rotation: 1 week every 3 weeks during daytime hours
• Census: 10–12 patients per day per psychiatrist
• Adult inpatient psychiatry unit
• Weekend rounding supported by a resident or NP
• Avg 1–2 admits/discharges per day per provider
• Minimum 12-month commitment – longer assignments encouraged
