Oceans Behavioral Hospital Biloxi is seeking a Psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and help prevent mental illnesses in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will collaborate with other psychiatrists and providers, providing medical and psychiatric expertise focused on psychopharmacology, differential diagnosis, and evaluation of mental disorders.

The role requires MD in Medicine, a 48-month Psychiatry residency, an active state license, and Psychiatry Board Certification, along with CPR and

Qualificações

• MD in Medicine required.
• 48 months residency in Psychiatry.
• Active Medical License in the state of practice; Psychiatry Board Certification required.
• CPR certification required by Oceans approved program.

Responsabilidades

• Render reasonable and appropriate treatment to inpatients and outpatients of the Hospital.
• Maintain and secure medical records for all Services rendered.
• Attend to billing reports, charge sheets, claims, and related correspondence.
• Continue physicians' education through meetings and programs.
• Participate in hospital education programs and community outreach.
• Develop treatment plans based on cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral disorders.
• Treat patients using psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
• Document symptoms, medications, and treatment events in histories.
