Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Abilene seeks a Psychiatrist to provide expert evaluation and treatment of patients with mental health disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses, collaborate with fellow psychiatrists and other providers, and apply psychopharmacology to develop effective treatment plans while documenting care.

Requirements include MD in Medicine, 48 months of psychiatry residency, TX medical license, board certification, CPR

Qualifications

MD degree in medicine and active Texas medical license.
Completed psychiatry residency (minimum 4 years).
Board certification as psychiatrist required.

Responsibilities

Render reasonable and appropriate treatment to inpatients and outpatients of Oceans Behavioral Hospital Abilene.
Maintain and update medical records and treatment summaries promptly.
Attend to billing reports, charge sheets, and related documentation.
Continuously improve professional skills through education programs.
Collaborate with other psychiatrists and healthcare providers.
Develop treatment plans addressing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
Treat patients using psychotherapy and medications.
Document symptoms, medications, and treatment events.
