Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric management for adults 18+, develop treatment plans, and oversee EPIC documentation in compliance with NYSOMH regulations.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, supervise residents and students, manage complex cases, and participate in training activities and QA initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
