Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and prevent mental illnesses in an in-person clinic in O’Fallon, MO. You will evaluate patients’ mental and physical health, prepare personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as needed.

You will join a large Midwest behavioral health network with a focus on HOPE values and compassionate, patient-centered care, maintaining manageable caseloads and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school.
• Active and unrestricted Missouri medical license.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Strong diagnostic and DSM-5 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical assessments.
• Develop individualized, multimodal treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications and side effects.
• Educate patients on medication management and adherence.
• Provide crisis support for acute psychiatric needs.
• Participate in case reviews and clinical supervision.
• Maintain a patient-centered, empathetic environment.
