Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Strong diagnostic and assessment skills with knowledge of the DSM-5.
• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders.
• Conduct complete history and physical assessments and follow up appointments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes.
• Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate patients on medication management and long-term impacts.
• Provide acute psychiatric crisis support when needed, including suicidality or severe distress.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision.
• Maintain a patient-centered, empathetic therapeutic environment.
